We've been a leader in the culture change in long term care from the old hospital-style model of the past to a more home-like environment

Spa Rooms

As we endeavor to make the bathing experience more pleasurable, we have done the following:

 

  • We regularly purchase new whirlpool tub systems with up to date technology that allow for the bathing experience to be a pleasant one

  • We have several spa rooms with beautiful ceramic tile, plants, pictures and even a towel warmer! ​

Blanket Warmers

 

  • The residents love having a warm towel wrapped around them when they are finished with their bath.

  • Any time a resident is chilled, they can be enveloped in warmth with a warmed blanket.

Rehabilitation Services / Therapy

The trained therapy specialists in our home work in a dedicated area attached to our Health Center but with a convenient covered exterior entrance for visitors. 

Entertaining

We want our residents to be able to entertain their family members and guests that come to visit them and have the following available for their use:

 

  • Multiple courtyards with sitting areas and tables for a picnic

  • Sitting rooms and alcoves throughout the Home -- please make yourself comfortable!

  • A comfortable snack area in the front living room with lots of windows to enjoy the outdoors.

  • Guest dining is available in our front living room area accommodating up to 10 guests.  For larger groups our activity room may be reserved when not in use.

    • You can bring in your own food or purchase meal tickets and our Dietary staff will serve you from our kitchen

    • There is a coffee pot, refrigerator and microwave available in this room

  • Holiday dining – we welcome you to join your family member for a holiday meal

  • Please contact our Dietary department for reservations

  • In order to accommodate as many families as possible, we do limit each resident to 4 guests

  • If you are part of a club and want to entertain your friends, please invite them and we will be glad to cater snacks or a meal for your group
